Anti-Wrinkle

  • Neuromodulators are a purified form of botulinum toxin. When injected causes muscle relaxation and reduces the formation of wrinkles.

  • Treatments last about 3-4 months depending on patient dosing and anatomy and will need to be retreated in order to maintain results.

  • Treatments may cause some mild to no discomfort, but most people find it extremely tolerable.

  • Most common side effects include temporary redness or swelling at the injection site and low risk of bruising.

  • There’s no set age of when to start botox treatment; however, we do know that we start producing as much collagen in our late 20s. Many patients want to maintain their skin and prevent lines from forming.

  • Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, have an allergy to the composition of onabotulinumtoxinA or certain neurological diseases.

  • Most common treatments include frown lines, forehead and wrinkles around the eyes. However we can treat several more areas of the face to strategically improve the skin and facial features.

  • Treatment cost varies depending on several factors, including the number of areas treated, aesthetic goals, dosing and anatomy.

Filler

  • Filler injection is an aesthetic procedure that injecting a gel like substance, usually hyaluronic acid, into the skin to fill in wrinkles, fine lines, or other signs of maturing. Depending on the characteristics of the product it can also be used to hydrate, volumize or contour the face.

  • Generally fillers can last anywhere from six months to 12 months. The longevity of the results are based on the type of filler used and the area being treated.

  • Treatments may cause some mild to no discomfort, but most people find it extremely tolerable. Depending on the area treated we will numb the area with a topical cream.

  • Common side effects of filler include swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness at the injection sites. These side effects resolve within a few days to a week after treatment.

  • Prior to a filler treatment, it is recommended that patients avoid blood-thinning medications, alcohol and smoking. It is also important to inform the practitioner of any medications or supplements being taken, as well as medical condition or allergies.

  • Results from filler are typically visible immediately, although the full effects may not been seen until a few days after treatment once any swelling or bruising has subsided.

  • Treatment cost varies depending on several factors, including the number of areas treated, amount used, aesthetic goals and anatomy.
